Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Temporary Consultant Anaesthesiologist with expertise in Chronic Pain to join our team at HSE University Hospital in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship in chronic pain management and be registered with the Irish Medical Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients with chronic pain, as well as providing anaesthesia services for surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
– Assessment and management of patients with chronic pain
– Provision of anaesthesia services for surgical procedures
– Development and implementation of chronic pain management plans
– Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
– Provision of education and training to medical staff and students
– Active involvement in research and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
– Medical degree from a recognised institution
– Completion of a fellowship in chronic pain management
– Registration with the Irish Medical Council
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in anaesthesia
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
