TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting 3 Staff Nurses on behalf of an Intellectual Disabilities Service who is about to open a brand new Children’s Respite Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new development.
This service will start out as a day service and eventually progress to a 24/7 service.
Role 1 is 37.5 hours per week
Role 2 and 3 are 34 hours per week. Contracts are permanent.
Rosters are rolling. Day Service hours are as follows Daily after school 3pm to 8pm, weekends and holidays are 10am to 7pm.
Requirements:
- NMBI Registered and preferably possess the RNID qualification.
- Up to date knowledge of best practice in the field of health and social care and an ability to implement this, in accordance with the Nurse’s Act 2011
- Preferably have experience working with children with an Intellectual Disability and must demonstrate an excellent understanding of the health, social and emotional needs of these children
- Knowledge and understanding of HIQA Standards & any other relevant legislative requirements.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role is essential.
