TTM Healthcare Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist for lucrative permanent work for a unique role based in Galway.
This newly created role consists of the following:
- 50% allocation within the existing Speech and Language Therapy Team that provides services to adults with an intellectual disability across Galway city and county. For both elements of the role, clinical supervision and support is provided by SLT Manager of this organisation.
- 50% allocation for interagency Housing Demonstration project in Ireland-West Region.
Position Overview: The Speech and Language Therapist will work both as part of a multidisciplinary team for the Living My Life Demonstration Housing Project, and the Speech and Language Therapy Team in an organisation. The SLT will provide a service to adults availing of services across Galway city and county. The Speech and Language Therapist will work within a person centred framework alongside the people supported, their support teams and families. This is an opportunity to demonstrate the evolving role of SLT.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered as a Speech & Language Therapist at CORU.
- Experience in working with adults with intellectual disability (includes placements)
- Hold a FEDS qualification
- Full driving license with access to your own vehicle (mileage will be paid at the appropriate rate)
