Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation – Explain procedures, ensure comfort, and position patients correctly for the ultrasound.
- Operate Equipment – Use ultrasound machines to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Document Information – Record patient history and medical details, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Review Images – Analyze and provide images to physicians for diagnosis, though diagnosis itself is not part of their role.
- Maintain Equipment & Safety – Ensure ultrasound machines are properly maintained and follow safety protocols to protect patients.
Requirements:
- Relevent Degree in Radiography
- CORU Registration
- Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
- Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
