We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team on a contract basis in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting and interpreting ultrasound exams and be able to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. There is an option to only work 2 to 3 days a week should you prefer.
Responsibilities:
– Conducting ultrasound exams on patients using specialized equipment
– Preparing patients for exams and explaining procedures
– Producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
– Analyzing images and providing preliminary reports to physicians
– Maintaining accurate records of procedures and patient information
– Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during exams
– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
– Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Sonography
– Certification in Ultrasound desirable
– Proven experience as a Sonographer with a focus on ultrasound
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care protocols
– Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed
