TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a social care worker on behalf of a leading intellectual disabilities service based in south Tipperary.
All positions are permanent contracts working 40 hours per week, the roster is as follows:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday Saturday Sunday working 8am to 8pm
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday working 8am to 8pm
Salary scale ranges from: €36,379 to €52,445 Depending on experience
Time and a half on Sunday and bank holiday / paid over time

Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care
- Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
- Thorough knowledge of HIQA Regulations and Standards and the relevant regulative framework
- Good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements including Trust in Care, and Children’s First
- An understanding of the New Directions model of day support services, as developed by the HSE. A willingness to work in promoting this model within your role
- Challenging Behaviour Course – desirable
