TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting Social Care Workers on behalf of a new, rights-based residential disability service supporting adults with disabilities and high support needs.
Location: Portarlington, Co. Laois
Role: Social Care Worker
Salary: €37,128–€40,163 per annum
Service: Residential disability / high support needs
The service is built around four core values: Empower, Connect, Trust and Joy, with a strong focus on independence, meaningful choice, community participation and person-centred support.
The role:
• Provide person-centred care and support to residents with disabilities and high support needs
• Act as Key Worker and contribute to individualised support plans
• Support residents with independence, daily living and community participation
• Provide personal care where required
• Administer and accurately record medication
• Work with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and behaviours that challenge
• Liaise with families, advocates and external professionals
• Maintain accurate records and work in line with HIQA and safeguarding requirements
• Undertake driving duties using company vehicles
• Work rostered shifts including weekends and night duty
