TTM Healthcare Solutions are partnering with a progressive service provider to recruit an Aftercare Support Worker for a unique residential setting in Limerick City.
Location: Limerick City Centre
Service Overview:
- Preparation for Leaving Care service
- Supporting young people transitioning toward independent living
- Comprises 4 self-contained apartments
- On-site staff team providing structured guidance and support
This service focuses on equipping young people with the skills and confidence needed for adulthood, including independent living and personal development.
Working Pattern:
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotational roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Your Key Responsibilities
- Support young people in developing independent living skills (e.g. budgeting, cooking, self-care)
- Promote personal responsibility, confidence, and decision-making
- Provide emotional and practical support during the transition to adulthood
- Encourage engagement in education, training, or employment
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and empowering environment
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
- Contribute to individual aftercare plans
- Record and report on progress, key events, and outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care or a related discipline
- CORU registration (or eligibility)
- Experience working with young people, ideally in residential or aftercare settings
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a wider team
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 rota system
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid right to work in Ireland (EU passport or appropriate GNIB stamp)
- Be open to completing Garda Vetting
- Provide International Police Clearance if required
