Social Care Leader – Children’s Residential Services
Full-Time | Permanent | 39 Hours per Week
TTM Healthcare is currently recruiting a Social Care Leader on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading providers of mainstream children’s residential services.

Salary
€56,351 – €65,807 per annum, depending on experience and incremental credit:
€56,351 | €57,569 | €58,786 | €62,032 | €63,291 | €64,540 | €65,807
Highly competitive premium rates are also payable on top of the salary scale for unsociable hours.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the relevant **CORU requirements for Social Care Workers** and must:
* Be registered on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU; or
* Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration, with evidence of application available; or
* Be eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU, with the appropriate supporting evidence.
* Hold an appropriate qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Applied Social Care or another recognised qualification meeting CORU requirements.
* Have a minimum of three years’ experience working within a Children & Families Service or another relevant environment supporting a similarly challenging client group.
* Demonstrate the knowledge, professional competence, leadership capability and suitability required to undertake the responsibilities of a Social Care Leader.
* Be fully flexible to work across residential rosters, including unsociable hours where required.
* Hold a full, clean Irish manual driving licence.
* Be eligible to live and work in Ireland.
The Role
As a Social Care Leader, you will play a key role within the residential team, helping to provide a safe, therapeutic, structured and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Alongside direct Social Care responsibilities, you will provide leadership and guidance to the care team, supporting high standards of practice and helping ensure that each young person receives consistent, individualised and child-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include contributing to individual care planning, safeguarding, positive behaviour support, risk management and the effective day-to-day operation of the residential service.
You will also help support and develop colleagues, promote strong professional practice and contribute to a positive team culture focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
