Senior Speech & Language Therapist
Location: Mountmellick Primary Care Centre, Co. Laois
Contract: End of October 2026 – End of December 2026, with a view to extension
TTM Healthcare Solutions is recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Children’s Primary Care Service in Mountmellick Primary Care Centre.
The successful candidate will provide assessment and intervention to children and young people presenting with a range of speech, language and communication needs, while working as part of a multidisciplinary Primary Care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an allocated paediatric caseload.
- Assess and provide evidence-based Speech & Language Therapy intervention.
- Develop and review individualised therapy programmes.
- Provide advice and support to children, parents, carers and relevant professionals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, schools and other community services.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
- Participate in clinical supervision, service development and quality improvement.
- Manage clinical risk and work in line with HSE policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- CORU mandatory
- Strong experience working with children and young people.
- Experience managing a paediatric caseload.
- Excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Senior-level paediatric experience is preferred, however experienced Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapists with strong children and young persons experience will be considered.
