Senior Grade Psychologist – Children’s Disability Network Team (12-Month Contract)
Are you an experienced Senior Psychologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on children and their families? We are recruiting for a Senior Grade Psychologist to join a dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team based in North Dublin.
This role offers the chance to support children with complex needs, arising from a combination of intellectual, physical, and/or sensory disabilities. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based services in alignment with family-centered practices and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological support to children and their families with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Facilitate and deliver training programs.
- Contribute to team-led initiatives and evidence-based practices.
Essential Requirements:
- University Degree or Diploma with first or second class honors in Psychology.
- Post-graduate qualification in Clinical, Educational, or Counselling Psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland, validated by the Department of Health.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a disability service.
- Strong ability to manage complex cases and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of Ireland must provide a certificate of validation from the Department of Health.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience conducting complex interdisciplinary diagnostic assessments.
- Leadership experience in team initiatives.
- Experience developing and facilitating training and intervention programs.
- Research interest and contributions.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
