TTM are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Dietitian – Care of the Older Person to join a team in a public hospital in Dublin. This is a part-time permanent position with flexible working hours, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of our community.
Role Overview: As a Senior Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing expert dietary advice and support to patients within our hospital. Working closely with healthcare professionals, you will assess, diagnose, and develop personalized nutrition plans to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments and developing tailored diet plans.
- Providing ongoing support and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and protocols.
Essential Criteria: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
- Minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification dietetic experience.
- Possess the necessary knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties.
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by CORU before employment.
Additional Requirements:
- Annual registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by CORU is mandatory.
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE via the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
