Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registrar in Medicine to join our team at one of the University Hospital in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Medical and Acute Medical Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Providing medical care and treatment to patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries
– Assessing patients’ conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans
– Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
– Consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive patient care – Documenting patient care and treatment in medical records
– Participating in patient rounds and case conferences
– Providing patient education and counseling on medical conditions, treatments, and preventative care – Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
– Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
– Medical degree from an accredited institution
– Completion of a residency program in Medicine or Post-Graduation – Valid medical license in the state of practice
– Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
