Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough foot and lower limb assessments
- Diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Prescribe and fit orthotics and other assistive devices
- Educate patients on foot care, hygiene, and prevention of foot-related issues
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure to practice podiatry
- Proven clinical experience in podiatric medicine
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Full driving license and access to own car is desirable
- Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16)
