This is a full time permanent contract!
This position is open to someone with either a nursing or a social care qualification.
The Person in Charge has a pivotal role to play in the professional leadership of the residential service.
The main areas of responsibility for assigned designated centres are:-
- Person in Charge (PIC) for Residential services

Rate: €24 per hour (€48,840 per annum) to €28 per hour (€56,980 per annum)

Qualifications and Experience (required):
- Degree in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, RNID, or related field (validated by QQI).
- Management qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a position of Person In Charge (PIC) in a Disability Service.
- Full driving license.
- Proficient in both oral and written English language
- Have the legal right to work in Ireland and currently hold valid work authorisation for Ireland

Requirements:
- Hold a Degree in Social Care; or Foreign Equivalent (validated by QQI)
- Management qualification
- a minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care;
- Have a proficient working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated regulations and Guidance; and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector.
