Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of children’s functional abilities and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, speech therapists, and educators.
- Educate and support families to promote their involvement in their child’s therapy.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in paediatric occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with CORU
- Proven experience in paediatric occupational therapy.
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
