TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Haemovigilance Officer (HVO) on behalf of an Acute Hospital based in Dublin.

This is a Permanent Full Time position working 37.5 hours per week.


• NMBI Registered on the General Division

• Have at least 3-5 years’ experience relevant to the specialty or 3 years’ experience in blood transfusion

• Knowledge of blood transfusion and practices

• Knowledge of current EU Blood Directive legislation

• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and management

• Knowledge of Risk management and clinical audit

• Have proven clinical and professional ability

• Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.

• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.

• Be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have ability to motivate and influence positively

• Have a proven ability to project manage and service develop

• Have a proven ability to work under pressure

• Have evidence of commitment to professional development.

• Have excellent time management skills

• Have experience of working in partnership with multidisciplinary groups

Desirable Attributes:

• Have a management or role specific post graduate qualification

• Previous experience of education programme development and delivery and clinical assessment skills

• Ability to compile, analyse and report data
