TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical officer to job their fast paced team.
Based in Cavan Town
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – 35hour working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and update waiting lists for assessments.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely recording of referrals and appointments.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to senior clinicians, including diary management, document preparation, and correspondence handling.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing confidential patient records.
  • Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Generate and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying trends and streamlining administrative processes.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians to reduce the administrative workload, by implementing effective procedures and systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes that enhance efficiency.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts) to support data analysis and reporting needs.
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues and liaise with IT support when necessary

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years previous experience in an administrative role in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Comfortable learning and utilising new software as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest practical solutions to streamline administrative duties.
