TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join their team in Roscommon.

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Scale: €19.97 – €30.67 per hour, depending on previous relevant public sector experience.
Contract: 3-6 months 
Availability: Immediate start required. Candidates must be available immediately or have a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

The Grade IV Clerical Officer will provide administrative support to the department and assist with the efficient day-to-day running of administrative functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing general administrative support to the department.
  • Uploading referrals and maintaining accurate records.
  • Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage data and complete administrative tasks.
  • Managing and maintaining documentation in an organised and secure manner.
  • Supporting the preparation of correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and other office documentation.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures and processes.
  • Providing reception cover when required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
  • Supporting colleagues and providing administrative cover as required.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a professional and respectful working environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong IT skills and experience working with administrative systems and databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Minute-taking experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
