Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and create tailored nutrition plans for patients.
- Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in dietetics and nutrition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- CORU Registration required.
- Proven experience in a clinical or primary care setting.
- Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
- Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
