Clonskeagh Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Counselling Therapist to join our Social Inclusion team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to patients, focusing on promoting mental health and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, assessing patients’ needs and developing tailored treatment plans.- Collaborate with the Social Inclusion team to address barriers to mental health services and support community outreach initiatives.- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to professional standards and hospital policies.- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive mental health programs.
Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.- Valid professional counseling license & Accreditation .- Proven experience in therapeutic settings, preferably within a hospital environment.- Strong understanding of social inclusion principles and experience working with diverse populations.- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
