Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Consultant Gastroenterology to provide clinical expertise and leadership in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations
– Performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
– Providing education and training to medical staff
– Participating in research activities
– Providing clinical expertise and leadership in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver
– Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
Requirements:
– Medical degree from a recognized institution
– Specialist training in Gastroenterology
– Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
