Based in Dublin 6
Temporary 6 month initial contract
PayScale is in line with Public Sector- €32.57- €42.29 per hr depending on previous relevant public sector experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations across functional areas including catering, portering, cleaning, hygiene, security, waste management, transport, and facilities.
  • Oversee contracted service providers and ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for site-based operational teams and ensure alignment across all sites.
  • Induct, supervise, and manage administrative and support staff.
  • Collaborate with HR on staffing, industrial relations, and performance matters.
  • Promote a customer service ethos within all operational teams.
  • Implement and monitor operational budgets and expenditure reporting.
  • Collect and analyse data on service performance, staffing, and costs.
  • Support KPI development and performance measurement.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with national standards, safety legislation, and internal policies.
  • Lead operational projects from planning through to execution.
  • Support the COO in prioritising initiatives and allocating resources effectively.
  • Provide backup and leadership support in the absence of the COO.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar operational role.
  • Strong HR and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • High IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Third-level qualification in Business, Health Services Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare or public sector operations.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes (e.g., eTenders).
  • Familiarity with policy development, accreditation, and performance standards.
