As an agency Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- Providing care and support to service users based on their individual needs and preferences.
- Assisting with basic skills such as feeding, washing, dressing etc.
- Encouraging and supporting service users to engage in their preferred activities, helping them to realise their potential.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and family members to ensure the highest level of care is provided.

What you will need for this role:
- Minimum of a Level 5 QQI certificate in Healthcare (8 Modules Completed and Final Results)
- At least 3 months experience working with people living with intellectual disabilities in a day or residential service.
- Full driving license and access to your own car. (Driving may form part of this role)
- Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills. Empathy and a desire to help others live fulfilling, independent lives.
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. In addition, candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
